About the Journal
InCantare Journal is a continuously published journal linked to the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Research in Music Therapy (NEPIM) at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR) – Curitiba Campus II – Faculty of Arts of Paraná.
Created in 2010 under the name NEPIM, the journal changed its name to InCantare in 2012. Interdisciplinary in nature, it is dedicated to publishing original and unpublished works, including scientific articles, essays, reviews, interviews, translations, letters to the editor, and descriptive memoirs.
Its scope encompasses research that contributes to the fields of Music Therapy, Music, Education, Health, and related areas. Submissions can be made in two ways: thematic calls (dossiers) and annual continuous calls.
Currently, the journal is indexed and aggregated in: Base, Diadorim, Google Scholar, Latindex, LivrRe, Miguilim, Sumários.org, Oasisbr, Capes Journal Portal, and Unespar Journal Portal.
All submitted works undergo double-blind peer review by two ad hoc reviewers, in addition to final editorial review by the journal's editors. The average review and publication time is around 90 days.
