This article seeks, through the analysis of two open letters published in digital and printed media, to discuss a topic that has motivated controversy, especially due to the kinesis that do not consent to the practice of "abortion". For this work, which is an empirical research of an interpretative and documentary nature, we analyzed two open letters with opposing positions on the legalization of abortion. We base ourselves on the postulate of French Discourse Analysis and on theorists that support its conceptual framework. As we understand that the classroom is the appropriate locus to discuss subjective and social practices, in this article we analyze how the defense or denial of abortion is supported by different historically constituted discourses. Aside from that, it is a reflection on statements that clash and refer to a topic that is often forbidden to the classroom.
