A CANÇÃO DE APRESENTAÇÃO COMO UM RECURSO DE MUSICOTERAPIA NA SAÚDE MENTAL

Music is a tool that has the potential to provide the human being with the release of emotions, among many other important functions. Currently songs are considered an important Music Therapy resource in the context of Mental Health and since the emergence of Music Therapy they are mentioned in this context. This article aims to present and reflect, through content analysis, the use of the Presentation Song technique in Music Therapy inserted in Mental Health. The analysis was made from the cataloged reports of group sessions, which happened in a particular psychiatric institution, using songs as a form of presentation of the participants. In addition to pointing out different possible types of Presentation Songs, this research shows that this technique contributes to the initial therapeutic bond, initial theme of intervention, future Music Therapy process, among others, bringing several benefits to the client and the music therapist who uses it.
