Performing the Immersive: Electroacoustic Music at the Threshold of Technology

Investiga-se como a convergência entre tecnologias imersivas e música eletroacústica molda as propriedades emergentes da performance contemporânea. A transição da obra musical de suporte fixo (tape) para ambientes interativos e exploráveis redefine as fronteiras da autoria e os papéis de compositor e de intérprete. Nesse cenário, o público deixa a passividade e assume o papel de participante ativo, moldando a experiência sonora em tempo real. A performance torna-se um processo emergente, resultante da interação entre a ação humana e os sistemas generativos. Os resultados imprevisíveis abrem portas para novas formas de fluidez estética. O foco passa da noção de produto final ou obra acabada para o desenvolvimento dinâmico do processo criativo. Cada obra adquire suas características por meio das possibilidades criativas que oferece, do seu design interativo e da qualidade da experiência resultante. Neste modelo, o papel principal do artista é projetar um mundo para a performance musical colaborativa.
