This article presents the results of a mapping conducted on scientific productions published in Brazil from 2013 to 2022, with the aim of mapping the mathematical concepts present in theses, dissertations and scientific articles, with an emphasis on Raymond Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers (TRRS) in the context of Basic Education. The following repositories were used to survey the scientific productions: Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), Thesis and Dissertation Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and the CAPES Periodicals Portal. The search was conducted using the keyword "Semiotic Representation," initially identifying 942 works. After applying refinement, selection, and exclusion criteria, 24 theses, 89 dissertations, and 43 scientific articles were selected for analysis. The IRaMuTeQ software was used to systematize the data, processing the corpus of the abstracts of the selected productions. The similarity analysis of the data allowed for the visualization of the co-occurrence of mathematical concepts in the corpus. Through the Word Cloud graph, the lexical analysis highlighted terms such as representation, register, student, semiotics, teaching, learning, mathematics, mathematician, teacher, high school, and elementary school, showcasing the emphasis of these studies in the field of mathematics education. The results obtained from the analyzed works reveal that the most addressed mathematical concepts were function, graph, geometry, rational numbers, and fractions. The selected research demonstrates the academic interest and engagement in TRRS, highlighting its applicability in the understanding and teaching of mathematical concepts.
