In this article, according to the principles of Carlo Ginzburg's indicious paradigm, we debate the discussions regarding Financial Education (EF) identified among the works of Integrative Projects (PI) approved in the National Book and Teaching Material Program in 2021 (PNLD/2021 ). These teaching materials have as objective to contribute to the curriculum contextualization, fostering students’ interest through interdisciplinarity. Allied to this point and given the growing interest and fomentation of discussions and actions to consider the EF in Basic Education, from the National Strategy for Financial Education, we understand that analyzing how discussions regarding this topic are presented in PI highlights as a relevant topic. For this reason, we constituted a corpus made up of 13 projects based on the evidences related to EF. When analyzing the corpus according to the two groupings we constructed, the results reveal that: (i) there is a strong tendency to discuss EF in contexts that problematize notions of economics and entrepreneurship from a perspective of seeking self-knowledge and (ii) themes surrounding environmental sustainability are used as an introductory way of discussing concepts related to EF.
