This article presents partial results of a study that seeks to analyze, inventory and describe types of task statements from the perspective of Realistic Mathematics Education, based on its proposition and its characteristics. For this, statements of tasks were collected in 45 peer-reviewed journal articles, which were inventoried and described. As a result, it was possible to identify elements valued in the proposition of tasks from the perspective of Realistic Mathematics Education, concluding that contextual tasks, mathematical modeling, which have visual, manipulative or computational resources offer more opportunities for mathematization than the ones tasks routinely presented in textbooks.
