Memory account about the training project "Development of reading practices, production, and linguistic analysis of texts", developed between the years 1985 and 1987 by the three State Offices of Education of Campinas/SP alongside a group of Portuguese teachers from the Elementary Education network. The project originated from the anthology "The text in the classroom", organized by Professor João Wanderley Geraldi. The authors had direct participation in the project from the different positions they held at the time, Portuguese monitor from the 2nd Office of Education, and university professor, member of the “Wanderley's team”.
