Abstract

It aimed to map the national publications related to the application of visual teaching strategies in deaf education in Basic Education. It was inspired by a systematic literature review protocol. The databases searched were: Scientific Electronic Library Online and Portal de Periódicos CAPES with the following descriptors: visual pedagogy, deaf pedagogy, visual resources, inclusive education and learning, each combined with the word deafness and their respective, deaf and deaf. After the selection, 28 studies were analyzed. Visual pedagogical practices were identified, in which teachers created materials, produced videos with accessibility. With the concentration of publications in the south and southeast regions and between the years 2019 and 2022.
