About the Journal
Focus and Scope
InCantare is an interdisciplinary magazine that emphasizes the publication of articles that deal with articulations between art, health and education. The periodical is a publication of the Campus of Curitiba II of the Faculty of Arts of Paraná – FAP/UNESPAR, with a semiannual periodicity. The magazine was created in 2010, entitled NEPIM (ISSN 2237-3365) and in 2012 it was renamed to InCantare. Maintained by the Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas Interdisciplinares em Musicoterapia – NEPIM, the magazine aims to publish and disseminate original and unpublished articles by authors affiliated to research groups, which bring contributions to the field of Music Therapy, Music, Education, Health and related areas, thus promoting the exchange between researchers from different university institutions in the country. Currently, the journal is indexed in the Periódicos (CAPES), Sumários (national), Latindex (Latin American), and Copernicus (international) databases. The InCantare Journal is available in an online version, ISSN 2317-417X. Contributions sent by authors will undergo a blind peer review process by at least two ad-hoc expert reviewers plus editors' review.
InCantare Magazine receives articles for two volumes a year and submission is made exclusively through the author's registration on the UNESPAR journal portal. The publication aims to disseminate articles in the areas of Music Therapy, Music, Education, Health and the like, in their most varied forms of disciplinary analysis, thus encouraging the exchange of knowledge between researchers from different educational institutions, whether Brazilian or foreign.
Peer Review Process
The names of the authors and reviewers will be kept confidential. Contributions sent by authors will be subject to blind peer review by at least two reviewers plus editors' review. In case of evaluative discrepancy, it will be sent to a third reviewer. The opinions will be sent to the authors for the science of the result of the process and, when it is the case, for them to make the requested modifications and resubmit the work.
Free Access Policy
This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.
