Dossier Sérgio Abreu

In v.11 n.2, the Vortex Music Journal pays tribute to the great figure of Sérgio Abreu (1948-2023) with the launching of the call for papers “Homage to Sérgio Abreu: guitar, contexts, practices and characters”. The call is open until June 1st, 2023 and features Humberto Amorim and Ricardo Dias as guest editors. Besides articles, reviews and interviews, the dossier also accepts unpublished videos using Sérgio Abreu's guitars, as well as a new category for the journal: an ebook that will bring together reports of experiences with Abreu, as well as a photo session for memory.
