This article presents the mapping and cataloging of guitars built by the renowned Brazilian luthier Sérgio Abreu. The catalog was developed through documentary research, using Abreu's own order books, as well as field research conducted on social media and the Guitar Forum, collecting testimonials from musicians and owners of Abreu guitars. The main objective of this research is to document and preserve the legacy of the builder, highlighting his importance in both the national and international scenes, and providing a comprehensive overview of the instruments he created and his production methods. Through this study, it is possible to understand the significance of Sérgio Abreu for musical practices, lutherie, and classical guitar culture as a whole. This work represents an initial step in documenting this legacy, and it is expected to serve as a foundation for future research to expand and deepen the knowledge about the work of this renowned luthier.
