La viralidad musical en plataformas sociales: una revisión de la literatura

Resumen

Las plataformas sociales en línea han amplificado la viralidad de contenidos, incluidas canciones que rápidamente alcanzan a millones de usuarios, convirtiendo la viralidad musical en un tema de investigación en crecimiento en campos como la informática, la música, la comunicación y el marketing. En este sentido, este artículo presenta una revisión de la literatura sobre la viralidad musical en redes sociales, con el objetivo de comprender y sintetizar las investigaciones existentes sobre el tema desde una perspectiva computacional. Ofrecemos una visión general de las principales dimensiones, incluyendo la evolución temporal, las perspectivas sobre viralidad, la relación con el éxito musical, las fuentes de datos, los enfoques y los métodos. Los resultados destacan el papel central de plataformas como YouTube y TikTok, la relación entre viralidad y éxito, y el uso de enfoques tanto cuantitativos como cualitativos...

Gabriel P. Oliveira, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Gabriel P. Oliveira obtuvo los títulos de Licenciado y Magíster en Ciencias de la Computación por la Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brasil, en 2018 y 2021, respectivamente, donde actualmente cursa el doctorado. Realizó una estancia de investigación en el Politecnico di Torino, Italia. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen computación social y ciencia de datos, con un fuerte énfasis en dominios interdisciplinarios. Es miembro del Laboratorio de Ciencia de la Computación Interdisciplinaria (CS+X).

Ana Paula Couto da Silva, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Ana Paula Couto da Silva obtuvo el título de doctora en Ingeniería de Computación y Sistemas por la Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, en 2006. Estuvo en IRISA-Rennes en 2005 y 2007, fue investigadora posdoctoral en el Politecnico di Torino en 2008, profesora visitante en 2016 e investigadora visitante en 2018. Es profesora titular en el Departamento de Ciencias de la Computación de la Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais, donde trabaja desde 2013. Tiene una beca de productividad en investigación (PQ-CNPq) nivel 2. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen ciencia de redes, computación social, análisis de sistemas informáticos y green networking.

Mirella M. Moro, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Mirella M. Moro, PhD, trabaja en el Departamento de Ciencias de la Computación de la Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen investigación basada en datos, computación y cultura, diversidad de género y educación en Ciencias de la Computación. También es defensora del aumento de la participación de mujeres en la Computación y la Tecnología, y coordina el Programa Chicas Digitales de la Sociedad Brasileña de Computación.
