This article examines how artistic practices can resist normative ideals of youth and beauty, especially in the context of female aging. Grounded in feminist theory and cultural criticism, the study analyzes artworks byLouise Bourgeois, Kiki Smith, Sarah Lucas, and ORLAN, and engages with authors such as Sontag, Beauvoir, Bordo, Butler, Gullette, Han, Eco, and Deleuze. Using a qualitative methodology and an art-based researchapproach, the article combines theoretical investigation with the development of an original artistic project involving wearable sculpture and performance. Results show that dissident aesthetics — marked by the grotesque, the abject, humor, and material decay — can challenge the symbolic power of youth and disrupt the aesthetics of neoliberal positivity. The conclusion affirms that art offers a space for reimagining the aging female body not as decline, but as visibility, resistance, and aesthetic force. This research contributes to the debate on artistic strategies of resistance to conservatism, far-right politics, and informational capitalism.
