This essay seeks to bring to light the trajectory and theoretical aspect of João Wanderley Geraldi's work, whether by examining a possible cleavage between the educator and the theorist, or the dialectic of these two subject positions. To do so, it uses the notion of Foucauldian dispersion system, as well as a historiographical sketch taken from interviews with the scholar.
