Este artigo fala dos instrumentos de sopro e seus princípios acústicos básicos . Refletetambém que junto com os diversos aperfeiçoamentos durante a primeira metade do século XIX, surgeo sistema de chaves de Theobald Boehm e finalmente o saxofone de Adolphe Sax . O artigo apresentaainda figuras que ilustram as diversas fases dos instrumentos .
