This article presents the results of an investigation of the main scientific productions that address the theme involving financial literacy. This is a bibliographic research, whose theoretical delimitation occurred around 17 publications available in databases, such as the Catalogue of Theses and Dissertations (CAPES), Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, and the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Administration (ANPAD). In this case, we adopted as criteria, four axes that sustain the present research, they are: Financial Education, Financial Literacy, Meaningful Learning and Financial Mathematics. We chose works carried out between the years 2010 and 2020, and some works were selected because they contain aspects of relevance analogous to our research. It is noteworthy that the researched references demonstrated the contributions of the theme, for the consolidation of knowledge.
