THE SYNTHESIS PROCESS IN IMMANUEL KANT'S THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE

The purpose of this article is to approach, in a didactic way, the Theory of Knowledge proposed by Immanuel Kant. For this, we will use passages from the Critique of Pure Reason (1781). It is reiterated that this text is the result of research carried out during the completion of my Course Completion Work, which took place under the guidance of the professor and co-author of this work. In a clear and objective way, this text is expected to introduce the reader to the main concepts and stages of the epistemic process in Kant. As an instrument of analysis, we will particularize our considerations around the concept of synthesis, an elementary notion addressed by the German philosopher throughout the sections in which the referred theory is presented. Finally, it is hoped that the reflections presented here will serve as a support point for those who seek a better understanding of Kant's thought, placing before that the need for its study and its importance for Philosophy.
