This text presents an (in)formal, sensitive and poetic conversation with researcher Uxa Xavier about the trajectory of the dance artist-teacher in childhood, the approach also includes the problems experienced during the pandemic in the circumstances and the strategies used to create of the project at that time. The interview was conducted by _________ and _________, it was carried out in an online format, integrating the series of interviews produced by Ladeira a Bausch - Podcast sobre Dança published on podcast platforms on July 1, 2021. The original dialogue was transcribed and is presented here in order to document and raise perspectives on Dance in childhood based on the interviewee's experience of how the pedagogical practice of being with children permeates creation in a fruitful environment for the imagination.
