Abstract

This text presents an (in)formal, sensitive and poetic conversation with researcher Uxa Xavier about the trajectory of the dance artist-teacher in childhood, the approach also includes the problems experienced during the pandemic in the circumstances and the strategies used to create of the project at that time. The interview was conducted by _________ and _________, it was carried out in an online format, integrating the series of interviews produced by Ladeira a Bausch - Podcast sobre Dança published on podcast platforms on July 1, 2021. The original dialogue was transcribed and is presented here in order to document and raise perspectives on Dance in childhood based on the interviewee's experience of how the pedagogical practice of being with children permeates creation in a fruitful environment for the imagination.

Author Biographies

Juliana Zelenski Alves, UFPR

PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Paraná - PPGE in the Research Line of Language, Body and Aesthetics in Education (2024). Bachelor and Degree in Dance from the State University of Paraná (Unespar), Curitiba II campus/ Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (FAP); Master from the Professional Master's Postgraduate Program in Arts – PPGArtes/UNESPAR, in the research line: Educational Experiences and Mediations in Arts, Dance Research Group/UNESPAR.

Paula Carolina Petreca

Graduada em Comunicação Social pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2005) e mestrado em Comunicação e Semiótica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2008). Pesquisa especialmente a área de História da Dança e a Criação Autoral em Dança, lecionando regularmente em projetos como Escola de Dança de São Paulo - Fundação Theatro Municipal, Projeto Núcleo Luz/ Fábricas de Cultura - Governo do Estado de São Paulo e Escola Livre de Dança - Prefeitura Municipal de Santo André. Coordenou cursos de formação de artistas em instituições como o Centro Livre de Artes Cênicas de São Bernardo do Campo, a Escola de Dança do Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, a Escola Livre de Dança de Santo André e o Centro de Referência da Dança da Cidade de São Paulo.
