This text aims at analyzing the relation between the conquest of the indigenous school and the (re)demarcation of the Puruborá Territory. This is a product of a Master research, based on an ethnographic perspective, held in the municipality of Seringueiras, RO. The data were produced through documentary analysis, participant observation and interviews. The analysis was done throu gh the triangulation of the data, articulated with the theoretical reference. The results indicate that the conquest of the school in this context is linked to the other fights of this indigenous people and stems from the historical process of their organization around the claim of (re)demarcation of their traditional territory.Downloads
