Abstract

The discovery of possible dialogue between the practice of running and the act of drifting is what pushes this research forward. The action of having practical experiences aligned with the theoretical work of authors from diverse areas and backgrounds helped build a cluster of thoughts into perspectives, ideas and finally an essay, carried by the researchers while still involved with the scientific initiation program administered by Universidade Estadual do Parana (UNESPAR). To achive that purpose, the essay shows in topics the studied themes and also brings the author`s testimony in regards to the practical research on the above themes, discussing with thinkers in art, PE and geography in the quest of acquiring more knowledge coming from the interdisciplinarity of the subjects, while reaching for a new notion on the studied themes.

Author Biographies

Leonardo Menin Silva, UNESPAR

Leonardo Menin Silva is dramatist, scenic lighting and researcher of the performing arts. Graduate in performing arts for the Paraná State University (UNESPAR), campus Curitiba II (FAP). Is part of quandonde intervenções urbanas em arte since 2021 and the Coletivo Achados e Perdidos de Teatro since it's been formed in 2023, with them has developed their main thrust of research, that is the relation between the body and the city, in the light of the Street Theater or the experiences of urban performances. Also they are a member of the scenic lighting laboratory of the professor Nádia Luciani (LABIC) since 2023, creating and operating projects of scenic light for plays in Curitiba

Diego Elias Baffi, UNESPAR

Diego Baffi is a performer/urban intervener, clown, director, and professor/advisor of academic-creative processes in this area of knowledge. Since 2003, he has dedicated himself to the reinvention of the city through urban art interventions, being one of the founders of quandonde plataform of urban art interventions in 2012. He holds a Ph.D. in Theater from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (UNIRIO) with a Doctoral Internship at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), a Master's in Arts, and a Bachelor's in Performing Arts from the State University of Campinas, Brazil (UNICAMP). He has been a faculty member in the Bachelor of Performing Arts at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR) Curitiba II campus (FAP) since 2010 in the chair of Dramaturgy and Scenic Creation Processes. He is a collaborating researcher of the Research Group Creative Processes in Performing Arts (Unespar/CNPq) and is currently researching the intersections between art and psychology within the universe of urban arts within the research "Art and Public Space: between interpretation and interpenetration."
