Abstract

Critical review of the dissertation by master and professor Jair Mario Gabardo Junior, titled "Dance Teaching and Performative Education: possibilities of the body in the (Re)creation of the school space." Based on the conceptual prism of Performative Education, the dissertation offers reflections on the embodied potentials of the body and Dance within the school.

Author Biography

Lui Martins dos Reis, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Lui Martins has a Bachelor's and Licentiate degrees in Dance from the State University of Paraná, and he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education at UFPR (Federal University of Paraná). Lui has a background in classical ballet from the Dance School of Teatro Guaíra and actively participates in the Ballroom Scene in the South. Artistically, he is interested in the fusion of sublime and grotesque visualities and corporealities. Currently, Lui works in cultural and scenic production, with a focus on productions created by and for the queer community.
