This poetic and reflective memorial is born from the desire to: share elements present in the construction of an artistic and performative discipline that I name Sensorygraphy and its recent mobile definitions; rescue the origins of Sensorygraphy, deepen its concepts and understand the influences of the UM – Núcleo de Pesquisa Artística em Dança da UNESPAR/FAP and Limites em Movimento: Corpo em Questão in the elaboration of this discipline; and create connections with the work I have been developing as a dance, writing and video art artist, considering the clinical experience founded on psychoanalysis. The works looking slowly and touching slowly will be presented here as a way of linking ideas and bodily, linguistic, artistic and performative experiences related to the creation of Sensorygraphy. It is a text written in the first person, with a focus on deepening Sensorygraphy, and which seeks to amplify a unique experience, in the process of gestation, to a broader context. This is an offshoot of the article Sensorygraphy: Performance Poetry as Artistic Intervention, published in February 2020 in the Polyphony Journal of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists; of the article Sensorygraphy: words in movement as a sensitive manifestation of the heart and lungs, published in June 2022, in the journal of the XIX International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference, SPACE OF ART THERAPY: the place of the individual in times of social transformations*. It is also an expansion of the Sensorygraphy | Sensóriografia, Primeiras Reflexões em Dança, Escrita e Percepção conference presented in November 2021 at the XV Mostra UM’s e Outros 35 Anos da UNESPAR.
*Organized by All-Ukrainian NGO, Art Therapeutic Association and Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
