This article presents a report based on our teaching practices in higher education: the supervised internship in the Bachelor in Music Education program at the [blinded] University. The reflections are guided by a narrative that highlights a set of emerging themes, which are then used as subjects for analysis. We trace a ten-year trajectory, from 2014 to 2024. The central question we aim to explore is: over these ten years, what challenges have we faced, what concerns and proposals have emerged, and what perspectives do we have for the future of teacher education in the field of music education? The text is structured around the intersection of two axes: the chronological perspective of historical and legal events, and the dimensions of challenges, movements, and reflections on the impact of these aspects on our pedagogical practice. In conclusion, we revisit these points to advocate for the supervised internship in music as a multidimensional, diverse, and meaningful space-time.
