Abstract

Our objective is to present a critical review of the book Corpo(s) 2: cultura, estética, discurso, organized by Jean Carlos Gonçalves and published in 2023 by Editora Pimenta Cultural, São Paulo. The content of the book, which contains 201 pages and is structured around 9 chapters with texts/essays written by 14 authors from different regions of the country, refers to educational and artistic experiences that have in common the place of speaking of the body as the protagonist of the reflections undertaken. The book is intended for readers interested in the arts and education, in dialogue with the performing body in its sociocultural, historical, technological and communicational discourses.

Cristiane do Rocio Wosniak, Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNESPAR) e Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR)

She holds a PhD in Communication and Languages ​​- research line in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (UTP). Master's degree in Communication and Languages ​​- Cybermedia and Digital Media (UTP). Specialist in Arts-Dance (FAP-PR). Adjunct professor at Unespar (Bachelor's Degree in Cinema and Audiovisual). Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program/Academic Master's Degree in Cinema and Video Arts (PPG-CINEAV/Unespar/FAP). Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program (Master's and Doctorate) in Education at UFPR. Leader of GP CINECRIARE - Cinema: creation and reflection (PPG-CINEAV/CNPq) and member of GP Labelit - Laboratory of studies in education, language and theatricality (PPGE/CNPq).
