In higher education, active learning methodologies are effective in fostering students' autonomy, critical reflection, and practical skills attributes essential for educators in advanced Veterinary Medicine programs. This study aimed to analyze a series of equine ovarian tissue manipulation workshops conducted with Veterinary Medicine undergraduate and graduate students to assess pedagogical and technical skill development. In these workshops, students were trained in both teaching and technical skills through lab-based integration of theoretical and experimental knowledge. Activities also included dynamic content reviews and research project presentations, offering comprehensive educational and scientific experience. Upon course completion, students reported significant improvement in understanding course topics and greater confidence in applying their knowledge. Results from the evaluation showed high satisfaction among students, with active methodologies effectively addressing both theoretical and practical aspects. Ultimately, hands-on workshops in equine ovarian tissue manipulation demonstrated efficiency in the continuous training of new Veterinary educators, promoting interdisciplinary education that connects theory with practical techniques.
