This work sought to analyze the intonation and constitution of public school teachers' utterance, investigating how continued training and the use of technologies impact pedagogical practices, focusing on the discursive choices that reveal educators' projects of meaning. To this end, a focus group was held with teachers from a public school in São José dos Campos; which constitutes the research corpus. The analysis was carried out based on the concepts of utterance and intonation, based on the theoretical assumptions of the Bakhtin Circle. It was concluded that the incorporation of technologies in education offers a chance to innovate teaching methods, but requires a cultural change, with educators and students adopting a mindset open to experimentation and continuous training to integrate technological tools in a critical and collaborative way.
