This research aims to investigate the potential of popular digital games as teaching resources, proposing an analysis of how their elements, mechanics and narratives can be used to work on educational content in the classroom. Given the growing use of digital games and the need for active methodologies that engage students in the teaching-learning process, this study seeks to map games widely used by young audiences and identify which curricular contents can be addressed through them, especially in the areas of Science and Mathematics. Based on this analysis, pedagogical strategies will be proposed to incorporate these games into the educational context, in order to enhance meaningful learning and student engagement. It is hoped that this study will contribute to expanding the use of digital resources in education, offering an overview for teachers seeking to diversify their teaching methodologies.
