Abstract: This article discusses how the teaching work of Science teachers takes place in hospital classes in the State of Paraná. It focuses on the organization of hospital school education in units served by teachers from SAREH (Hospital Schooling Network Service) and the development of hospital schooling in the territory of Paraná since its implementation in 2007. To guide this research, the qualitative approach and for data collection, the case study. The study included the participation of informants, three professors from hospital classes, who were heard through semi-structured interviews. The teachers reported some particularities of the teaching work carried out in the Science discipline. Among these particularities, some of the difficulties and teaching strategies used stand out, the ways of organizing and caring for patients during the hospitalization period, and the monitoring of these students in the hospital class.
