This article presents partial results of the extension project called “Sanda: Martial Philosophy Forming Citizens”, which aims to serve young people in vulnerable situations and, through Sanda, include philosophical values that assist in the integral and plural formation of all individuals. To this end, it is urgent to consider that the work is divided into two moments, namely, first, it seeks a theoretical foundation of what is characterized as Sanda and, in the second moment, it adopts a qualitative methodology through a field report , collected by the researchers, referring to the behaviors presented during the development of the project, as well as reports from school teachers, psychologists from the child and youth court and the parents or guardians of the participants. Among the results obtained, we highlight the increase in sociability with friends and family, greater attendance and school performance, effectiveness in complying with socio-educational measures, participation in domestic tasks and performance in sporting events at national levels.
