Inteligência Artificial e Inteligência Emocional: um debate para o presente e futuro da educação

This article presents a conceptual analysis of the relationship between Emotional Intelligence - EI and Artificial Intelligence - AI, based on the times of digital culture and the breadth and access of AI by students and teachers, which raises questions for teachers about their benefits or harms in teaching and learning processes. The objective of the study was to describe the concepts of AI and EI and to relate their use in the teaching and learning processes, understanding the importance of the interrelation of these areas for their use in education and consequently in the life project of those involved. An essay involves a dialogue between several authors from the two areas of knowledge that complement each other based on an analysis of the authors, which takes place with the eloquence and criticality that the subject deserves and lacks of attention. The methodology is a theoretical review of AI and EI and their interrelationship, which highlights the production of meanings, the use of affectivity in processes and the generation of social well-being through the above, in the sense that AI this post and it is up to education the challenge of proposing uses that do not only address the economic, but in criticality and coexistence in society.
