The study presented in this article seeks to understand the formative needs of teachers from a private Early Childhood Education institution regarding inclusion. This is a qualitative study that used a questionnaire answered by teachers from a private Early Childhood Education institution. The responses were organized and analyzed based on procedures inspired by content analysis, resulting in thematic categories related to inclusion. The responses revealed difficulties such as a lack of specific and adequate training, limited time for planning, the need to adapt activities, periods of student idleness, and challenges in establishing relationships with families. The findings reinforce that teacher education is a central axis for inclusive practices, requiring theoretical preparation, appropriate institutional conditions, and accessibility. Inclusion is understood as a multidimensional process that demands pedagogical, ethical, and structural changes.
