Author Biography

José Eliézer Mikosz, Universidade Estadual do Paraná - Campus de Curitiba 1

Transmedia artist, professor, and researcher. Postdoctoral fellow at the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa through the Núcleo de Estudos Ibéricos e Ibero-Americanos (Department of Modern Languages, Cultures and Literatures), with research on Representations of Art and Eroticism inspired by the Psychedelic Counterculture of the 1960s, 2024. Postdoctoral degree in Art and Heritage Sciences with research on Visionary and Psychedelic Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL), 2018. PhD from the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Human Sciences at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (PPGICH-UFSC), with the dissertation Visionary Art and Ayahuasca, 2009. Retired Associate Professor at the Universidade Estadual do Paraná (Unespar). Editor of the International Interdisciplinary Journal of Visual Arts ArtSensorium. Senior Professor in the Graduate Program in Visual Arts (Academic Master’s) at the Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná (Embap – PPGAV – Unespar, Curitiba Campus 1), and in the Professional Master’s Program in Arts at the Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (FAP – PPGARTES – Unespar, Curitiba Campus 2). Member of the Centro de Investigação em Belas Artes of the University of Lisbon (CIEBA-FBAUL) and of CHAM – Centro de Humanidades, in the subgroup Art, History and Heritage.
