This article aims to present a study of the Amazonian memories in some of the works by the artist Valdir Sarubbi. For this, it will explore the data of his productions, memories of the artist in the period when he still lived in the cities of Bragança and Belém do Pará, from his childhood to his more adult phase. For this study we have used the studies of Halbwachs (2004), Loureiro (2007), and the statements of the artist himself that appear in the book by Rosana Bitar (2002); and the letter written by the artist to his cousins.Downloads
