Este artículo es un capítulo adaptado de la tesisdoctoraldefendida en 2019sobre la obra pictórica y escenográfica del artista Pavel Tchelitchew. Este texto presenta el análisis de la última, menos estudiada y más filosófica etapa de la obra del pintor. Se analizan los principales temas de sus pinturas de los años cuarenta - cincuenta del siglo XX, tales como: dibujos anatómicos (paisajes interiores),retratos espiralesy composiciones geométricas luminosas. La autora destaca los elementos más importantes presentados en las pinturas del artista, que son la luz y la geometría, reflexiona sobre la conexión de la pintura de Tchelitchew con las tradiciones del arte ruso del siglo XV y las obras de los maestros del Renacimiento, exploraciones de perspectiva de Paolo Uccello y dibujos de Leonardo da Vinci. Se analizan los orígenes de las visiones filosóficas del artista sobre el significado de la labor de pintor como sacrificio por el arte; meta que el artista persiguió a costa de su popularidad en los últimos 15 años de su vida.Downloads
