Thereza Simões: uma Precursora da Arte Conceitual no Brasil

O objetivo do artigo é apresentar e analisar alguns trabalhos da artista brasileira Thereza Simões. Thereza foi uma das precursoras da arte conceitual no Brasil, durante o final dos anos 1960 e o início da década de 1970. Embora seja uma criadora ainda muito pouco estudada, Thereza possui uma produção de relevância inquestionável. Pretende-se, com a pesquisa, contribuir de alguma forma para retirar a obra dessa importante artista da obscuridade. Como referencial teórico, far-se-á uso dos escritos do crítico de arte Frederico Morais, com quem a artista mantinha estreito diálogo.
