Abstract

This visual essay investigates the relationship between body, territory and memory, articulating practices of self-history as a form of feminist and decolonial resistance. The research is developed based on performances, body paintings and installations, rescuing ancestral gestures and proposing imaginative processes for the future.

Mestranda em Artes visuais na Linha de pesquisa em Processos criativos na Universidade Federal da Bahia. Graduada em Bacherelado de Artes Visuais na Universidade Federal do Renconcavo da Bahia - UFRB, Centro de Artes Humanidades e Letras. Integrante do Programa de Extensão História da Arte e Gênero.
