Uma análise da Socialização e sua Configuração da Individualidade à luz de Durkheim e Berger

Abstract

This article explores the concept of socialization through the perspectives of Émile Durkheim and Peter Berger, understanding it as a social and collective phenomenon tied to the individual’s process of acquiring knowledge and integrating into the social world. The objective is to examine how social processes shape the formation of the subject and how society, in its various forms of organization and cohesion, structures the foundations of subjectivity. The research is qualitative in nature, with a bibliographic and theoretical-conceptual approach, grounded in the reading and interpretation of the classical works of the aforementioned authors. As a result, the study demonstrates that individual subjectivity is inseparable from the social structures that produce it, highlighting the central role of socialization in the constitution of the social being.
