Neste artigo, reflito sobre a dignidade humana no processo do morrer. Abordo discussõesbioéticas sobre o findar da vida humana. A mudança do paradigma da cura para o cuidado reflete umaimportante transformação de atuação das equipes de saúde, onde se insere o profissional damusicoterapia. É necessário criar unidades de cuidados paliativos que venham a atender e a respeitar a
dignidade humana dos pacientes terminais, fora de possibilidades terapêuticas, segundo um modelorelacional de atendimento.
