Este trabajo analiza el montaje Romeu e Julieta, dei Grupo Galpão, lectura popular y contemporánea de la historia de los amantes de Verona, de Shakespeare, a partir dei texto espectacular, es decir, dei conjunto de signos textuales, visuales y espaciales. EI foco dei análisis es el uso dei espacio como elemento dramatúrgico fundamental: la interrelación entre espacio, texto y demás lenguajes implicados en la construcción dei sentido de la obra, tanto en representaciones en espacios escénicos convencionales como alternativos.
