Abstract

This article presents a brief historical contextualization of artistic movements that engage with pornography as a mode of production. It outlines a Global North panorama and contextualizes the Brazilian reality, tracing the trajectory of countercultural movements from the 1980s to the present – focusing on the work of EdiyPorn: Pornô Desviante (EdiyPorn: Deviant Porn) collective, a pornographic production company founded in São Paulo in 2019. The analysis focuses on movements that mobilize pornography as a transgressive expression challenging the aesthetic norms of cis-heteronormativity. To this end, the article engages with the early stages of what has been referred to as the deviant porn movement — a term it critically explores — and examines its intersections with micropolitics and macropolitics, social movements and aesthetic insurrections. The article specifically analyzes the public and political impact of the Golden Shower (2019) performance, which took place during Jair Bolsonaro former presidency, proposing pornography as an insurgent narrative form with both social and aesthetic significance.

Graduado em Cinema e vídeo (FAP), formação em Esquizoanálise (Escola nômade), mestre em Psicologia clínica (PUC-SP), especializando em Lutas sociais e direitos humanos (CAAF/UNIFESP).
