PERFIL DEL RODANTERO ARGENTINO Y BRASILEÑO: UN ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO

RV tourism is a practice carried out by a community of people with common characteristics, interests, needs, and problems. They use recreational vehicles that travel nomadically along rural and non-rural routes. These vehicles have a space for accommodation that can be used for days, months, or years. This practice can be practiced during leisure time as a lifestyle.
This work is in the exploratory stage and seeks to understand the characteristics of this community that practices RV tourism in all its dimensions in a rural and natural context. A qualitative-quantitative study methodology was used with an exhaustive bibliographic review of publications, web articles, journals, and periodicals from primary and secondary sources. A survey was conducted among a segment of RV users using a virtual tool.
This community is made up of people who differ in their approach to RV tourism and by type of vehicle/home. They travel by individuals, in small or large groups, and the RVs are used for tourism purposes. This group shares a spirit of seeking freedom, traveling, connecting with nature, discovering new places, and sharing the lifestyle.
