The article discusses recent efforts focused on gender issues, particularly in the context of rural areas and women's participation in agricultural institutions. Following the Green Revolution, significant changes have occurred in the social and spatial dynamics of the Pampas region. Nevertheless, no notable differences exist in women's involvement within traditional institutions or those established in the 1990s regarding management roles. Furthermore, intersectionality aligns with pre-existing conditions affecting access to institutions and means of production before the region's capital expansion. Feminine and masculine stereotypes manifest as unwritten patterns that operate subtly through symbolic aspects of gender issues. Methodologically, we utilize documentary sources, census data, and semi-structured interviews. In our conclusions, we pose questions that enable us to explore potential research avenues to deepen understanding and document women’s participation and institutional roles in rural settings.
