Cultural-religious tourism in Foz do Iguaçu: cultural heritage in the trinational region (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay)

The present essay aims to describe the cultural heritage concerning the religious tourism in Foz do Iguaçu, located on the triple border. Because of the cultural diversity, it is noticed the development of religious tourism which raises the income for the city. On this, it is perceived that the material and immaterial cultural heritage shows the local groups identities, which are fluid, mutable and variable, according to the time and place, providing to the public the knowledge of the memory of such groups through the cultural heritage as a transmissible tradition of behaviors from a collective and individual identity.
