The doctoral thesis MENINO 111 (BOY 111) FROM THE DANCE SOLO TO A BLACK WAR FRONT: 'dançovivências' in a State that exterminates black youth. (VILAÇA, 2023), based on the dance choreography Menino 111, the lecture-performance by the same name and the appreciation, description, and analysis of works directed and performed by black artists in response to the genocide of black youth, after intense debate about anti-blackness, human rights, slavery, freedom, black feminisms, black body and jazz, it resulted in six afrojazz foundations that belong to black aesthetics, and above all, the methodological possibility of making Afrological art, namely: i. Black ancestry (African-diasporic); ii. Corporalitura (body and orality); iii. Asè; iv. Improvise; v. Learning from the Black Movement; and vi. Field Research. These fundamentals were shared visually in an organizational chart nicknamed Flower of Life. In this article, Black Ancestry (Ancestralidade), Corporalitura and Asè are presented to share a little of what the MiLágrimas and/or Com Olhos d’Água scene is.
