In this paper, I sought to understand the creative process behind the play Em Poucas Palavras by Curitiba's Palco de Madeira theater group, from Centro Estadual de Capacitação em Artes Guido Viaro. The play was directed by Marcelo Cabarrão. My focus is to explore the creative impulses generated by the script, as presented by Patrice Pavis (1999) and Renata Pallottini (2015), supported on Stela Fischer (2010) and her ideas about the Collaborative Process. Through interviews with the cast and the director I intended to get insights about the play's development and its influence on the performance. Additionally, I studied the directive pedagogy of Cabarrão, guided by the works of Torres (2007) and Martins (2002). As an actor and a member of the cast during the play's creation, I had access to the final script, videos, and pictures of the performance, as well as my own notes from the rehearsals and those shared by other cast members. I analyzed these materials alongside the interviews to better understand the impact of the dramaturgical creation on the actors' work.
