This memorial is a version of a performative reading, presented at the Advanced Seminar Espaço(s): transits between the specific and the broad, at PPGARTES at UNESPAR, in Curitiba, on May 20, 2022. The text seeks to present the questions that move the work Micro-resistances, a photographic series in development since 2008. In the work I place my naked body in different situations of landscapes and architecture. I remain standing, body erect and face the camera, tensioning the relationship of a body read as “feminine” and therefore, supposedly vulnerable in relation to the public space in which it is located. Despite this, there is no weakness in the action, but a conscious and to some extent affronting nature. The nude I propose does not wish to seduce the viewer, but precisely to get rid of a romanticized and sexualized mode of representation. After 16 years, the images also incorporate the passage of time that is noticeable in the transformation of my materiality, which also crosses and is crossed by spaces and places.
