Life and death raise mystery and the use of artistic images brings some concreteness and helps to compose the esoteric imaginary. The objective of the article is to consider the different artistic conceptions related to the mysteries of life and death that contribute to build a vision related to the esoteric art from the Tibetan Buddhist, Indian imaginary of the Bhagavad Gita, ancient Egyptian with current reflections in the Rosicrucian, Brazilian Catholic and of death itself, from a shocking aesthetic-artistic cut. The method consists of exploratory, bibliographical research with an essayistic approach. In the results, it is pointed out that artistic images about death, life and rebirth (or reincarnation) can contribute to enable visibility that allows more reflections about the mysteries of existence. In the conclusions, it is suggested that the images presented can be associated with what could be called esoteric visual art, an essential aspect in esoteric conceptions that can be related to the mysteries of life and death, at least in Tibetan Buddhist, Indian Bhagavad Gita, aesthetic-artistic, ancient Egyptian with current reflections and Brazilian Catholic perspectives. Thus, from a synthetic semiotic interpretation, it can be inferred that artistic images can be considered fundamental in the construction of esoteric imaginaries, which is an innovative and instigating issue.
