When "Isso" becomes a collective dance: an approach to the production of performative utterances in dance from the creation process of Rasuras
Abstract:
This essay starts from a creation experience with the UM - Núcleo de Pesquisa Artística em Dança da Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNESPAR) - to discuss compositional possibilities in Dance and this ethical-political aspects from an approach on the notion of performative utterance, understood like action of the body capable of representing and/or reiterating different discursive dynamics. In order to do so, the brief description of the practice developed at Núcleo UM, based on one of the exercises of the Modo Operativo AND system: the “Jogo do enunciado” or “Isto-Isso-Isto”, and a reflective route is developed about the idea of performative utterance and creation in dance with reference to the discourse approach by Michel Foucault.
