This article is the result of the desire to speculate the humor in dance from the articulation between the ideas of some authors, among them, Verena Alberti, Henri Bergson and Abrão Slavutzky and the way in which the humor was being tested in the body from the trajectory and In this perspective, humor, in its inseparable relationship with death and love, appears as a strategy to bring the public and the work closer together in order to problematize and reach together other ways of experiencing dance. Here who writes is the researcher who is a mother, woman, artist, teacher crossed by the pandemic in a country called Brazil and thus, the act of writing, also occurs in a state of fright with humor, caused by the misfits and result of the friction between the times, past and present and the inevitable blurring between theory and practice, life and art, everyday and artistic contexts of academics
